By commissioning me for custom artwork, you are agreeing to the terms of service outlined below:
1. General Disclaimers
I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a commission at any time.
Disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated and your commission will be cancelled if it occurs.
The terms outlined here may vary slightly depending on the type of commission.
2. Payment Information
You will receive a paypal invoice AFTER the price has been approved by both parties and BEFORE the work commences. All payments are in USD & via Paypal Invoice.
Upon payment, sketching will begin. This is for the safety and clear communication of both parties and the piece is fully paid for and I am not working in vain or for free.
Work will only begin as soon as the payment is received, so please make sure to check your e-mail for the invoice.
Upon client cancellation, 50% of the payment will be refunded regardless of how much work was completed.
Upon artist cancellation, 100% of the payment will be refunded regardless of how much work was completed.
3. Client Obligations
Please write in a clear and concise manner when filling out your commision request.
Provide multiple clear reference images of the character/subject.
Mood boards are welcome!
Maintain professional conduct throughout the commission process.
Respond in a timely fashion.
Assume responsibility to convey important information. Failure to provide adequate information may result in a less satisfying commission.
Carefully read through both the ToS and Commission Information.
4. Process
I will send over a sketch for approval before continuing the commission. I will accept one complete revision as well as minor revisions at the sketch stage.
I will show WIPs throughout the commission process.
Sketch and subsequent in-progress shots will initially be sent as low-res, watermarked images.
Deadlines must be agreed upon prior to the start of the commission.
I will always do my best to complete your commission within a timely manner, but please understand that sometimes life may get in the way and cause a delay in completing your commission. I will notify you as soon as possible of any issues that come up to keep you informed.
5. Revisions
One major revision and multiple minor revisions are allowed in the sketch phase and are covered in the commission price.
A limited amount of minor revisions are allowed in coloring/painting stage and are covered in the commission price.
Excessive minor revisions to the point that forward progress on the work has halted will incur additional fees.
Revisions due to my own negligence are free.
Additional major revisions will incur additional fees.
It is up to my discretion as to what constitutes minor and major revisions.
6. Redistribution and Crediting
I allow the client to repost their commissioned piece on social media websites, however proper credit must be given and somewhere visible.
If you have a specific purpose in mind for your commission, please let me know in advance! I will try to accomodate this during the production of your piece.
Editing/cropping/printing of my work for personal use is allowed - However, the original watermark must remain visible when possible. For anything that renders the watermark illegible, please have a link nearby in the description/caption for the piece
I do not allow commercial redistribution of work commissioned for personal use. You do not have the right to make any form of profit whatsoever from my work commissioned for this purpose.
I have the right to the image, its distribution, and its use. However, rest assured that I will not sell any prints or merchandise from any commissioned works.
Please let me know if this commission will be for commercial use. Further details regarding commercial use fees must be discussed.
7. Extra
Rush Orders will have an additional 75%-200% charge depending on the time frame.
